Lead Staff Member
Under general supervision, manages the Before and After School program at the school/organization. Work involves planning and implementing daily programs that are developmentally appropriate, nurturing, and enriching for school-aged children (K – 8) (grades will vary based on the school site). Works and consults with school staff as appropriate. The Lead Staff member is responsible for supervising all students, volunteers, and contractors at the assigned school, and establishing and maintaining working relationships with parents/legal guardians of students enrolled in the program. Relevant childcare experience required. Some college course work required.
Group Leader
Under general supervision, performs a variety of child care, child development, and clerical tasks for the Before and After school (B/ASC) program at the assigned school. Work involves assisting the Lead Staff member in planning and providing a daily program of developmentally appropriate, academically stimulating, nurturing and enriching experiences for school-aged children (K-8). Employee is also responsible for implementing activities as planned, supervising students during activities, engaging in activities with the children and acting as a role model for participants. HS Diploma Required. Some childcare experience preferred.
